About NYC Spa Codes
How this site works, why it exists, and why you can trust the discount codes here.
Why This Site Exists
I got tired of searching for discount codes and finding pages full of expired or fake codes. You know the sites - they list dozens of "codes" for every business, none of which actually work, just to capture search traffic.
NYC Spa Codes is the opposite approach. I only list discount codes for venues I personally use, and I only list codes that actually work. If a code stops working, I remove it. If a venue doesn't have a working discount, I don't pretend they do.
Right now, that means two venues: Bathhouse NYC and Othership NYC. Both have active referral programs that offer real discounts to new customers. That's the entire site. No padding, no fake "exclusive" codes, no countdown timers creating fake urgency.
How I Verify Codes
Every code on this site is a referral link from programs I'm personally enrolled in. Here's my verification process:
- I use the venues myself - I'm not listing codes for places I've never been. I visit these spots regularly and can speak to the actual experience.
- I test the checkout flow - Before listing a code, I go through the booking process to confirm the discount applies correctly.
- I update weekly - Every week, I verify the codes still work. If something changes, I update the site immediately.
- I note restrictions clearly - If a discount only works for new customers, I say so. No surprises at checkout.
Transparency About Referral Links
Let me be completely clear: the links on this site are referral links. When you use them:
- You get a discount on your first visit (the specific percentage varies by venue)
- I receive credit toward my own future visits
This is how the site sustains itself. I'm not running ads, I'm not selling your email address, and I'm not hiding the fact that I benefit from these links. You get a real discount, I get credit, the venues get new customers. Everyone wins.
I'd recommend these venues regardless of whether I got referral credit. They're genuinely great experiences. But the referral program makes maintaining this site worthwhile.
What This Site Isn't
This isn't a comprehensive coupon aggregator. I'm not trying to list every spa in New York or scrape the internet for every possible promo code. That model produces garbage - sites full of expired codes that waste everyone's time.
This site is small and focused by design. Two venues, two working codes, updated regularly. If more venues launch referral programs worth sharing, I'll add them. But I won't add fluff just to have more content.
About Me
I'm a New York-based wellness enthusiast who's spent way too much time and money exploring the city's spa and wellness scene. What started as curiosity about cold plunging turned into a regular practice, and along the way I became familiar with most of the premium wellness venues in the city.
I built this site because I found myself constantly sharing referral codes with friends who were curious about trying Bathhouse or Othership. Making a simple website seemed more efficient than texting the same links over and over.
Contact
Have a question about a code? Found an error on the site? Want to suggest a venue to add?
This site doesn't have a contact form (trying to keep things simple), but you can find me if you look around. I'm responsive to genuine questions about the codes or venues.
